UPON PAYMENT BUYER AGREES TO HAVE READ AND AGREED TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS:

Payment:
I prefer PayPal and your purchase must be paid in full prior to shipping. I WILL NOT accept personal checks, no exceptions.

I will hold an animal for up to one week with a 50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit.

If you are interested in purchasing a gecko, please contact me via e-mail. I will then give you my PayPall address to proceed with payment.

Shipping:
I use UPS and FedEx next day air for shipping (depending on who has the best price). UPS and FedEx orders will only be sent out Monday-Wednesday. In some cases I may ask you to wait for up to a week before shipping. This will hopefully allow me to reduce trips to UPS/FedEx by holding off to see if any other purchases are made. If, however, you have circumstances that require shipping ASAP, I will do my best to accomodate you.

I guarantee that the geckos you purchase are healthy and will arrive alive and that I am not falsely representing the animals, information or health of the gecko on my website, RhacRoom.com. It is the buyers responsibility to provide me information on the temperature of the area the gecko is being shipped, the Arrive Alive guarantee only applies if temperatures are between 40-85 degrees fahrenheit and the customer MUST BE PRESENT to sign for the package when it arrives. The customer is responsible to keep me up to date on current weather conditions and if necessary heat or cold packs will be used to maintain the ideal temperature. No extra charge will be added for heat or cold packs. If I am not kept up to date on weather conditions or conditions are different than what was claimed the Arrive Alive guarantee will be voided.

In the event that your animal is deceased upon arrival I must be notified within 2 hours of the arrival of your shipment. In this case I will give you credit in the value of the gecko you purchased. If the animal is deceased or appears unhealthy in any way and in order to receive a cred in the value of the purchased gecko the customer MUST PROVIDE PHOTOS THAT CLEARLY DISPLAY THE CONDITION THE PACKAGE WAS IN UPON ARRIVAL AND THE ANIMAL ITSELF. THIS MUST BE DONE WITHIN 5 HOURS OF THE ARRIVAL OF THE PACKAGE. If the animal is deceased, place it in a ziploc bag in your freezer and contact me, IF I AM NOT CONTACTED WITHIN THE 5 HOUR TIME PERIOD I WILL ASSUME THAT THE ANIMAL ARRIVED AND IS HEALTHY.

Lost Tails:
Shipping can be a stressful process for reptiles and as a result the gecko may lose its tail. I am not responsible for lost tails during shipping. The geckos healthy and ability to breed is not affected as a result of the lost tail, therefore, refunds/credits WILL NOT be given if the tail is dropped during shipping.

Color:
Rhacodactylus Geckos change color depending on mood, humidity, temperature, stress time of day and the maturation of the gecko. Rhacodactylus generally display their best, most intense colors at night. The purpose of multiple images representing the available gecko is to try my best to accurately represent its coloration. As a result, however, REFUNDS WILL NOT BE GIVEN DUE TO DISSATISFACTION BASED ON COLOR.

Sexing Policy:
If the gecko is labeled as being Male or Female I guarantee it to be 100% accurate, if I am not 100% accurate of the sex the gecko will be marked Unsexed.

Payment Plans and Holding Animals:
I will hold an animal for up to two weeks only with a 50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit sent via PayPal. After two weeks, if full payment has not been received, the animal will be listed as available. If the customer cannot finish payment or backs out for any reason, NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.

While I would like to believe everyone is trustworthy, the fact is, people aren't, many people in the reptile business get scammed by both buyers and sellers. These terms and conditions have been put in place not only to protect myself, but the customer as well.
